Fashion and Runway For 2011 2012 Winter

The amazing fashion season is just about here and I am here to tell you about the 2011/2012 trends. Men’s designers have much to offer us guys. Military fashion and colors are in this year once again. There are many new ones for diversity in your wardrobe.

 

Military Fashion Trend: Military style coats and blazers, have been on the runway in Europe and the trend is ongoing since 2010. Many brands and designers as Ferragamo, Alexander McQueen, and even Versace showed off some extremely trendy armed forces jackets and outerwear. Alexander McQueen outerwear is majorly emphasizing military fashion.

 

 Fashion splashing color: Preppy fashion is a big trend this fall. If you like casual savoir fair and comfortable garb in bright hues then you surely will find streams of designs in the collezione of Vivienne Westwood, Tommy Hilfiger, D&G, Etro, and Acne.

 

Gray is good: Gray is traditional. It can be worn with black and white as well as mixed with stronger shades and colors. Whether you’re donning a casual look or a business suit, gray color is one of the major trends for Fall/Winter 2011/2012. Michael Kors, Dior Homme, Armani, Lanvin, and Veneta as well as Bogetta have manufactured and designed gray in suits, outerwear and other apparel.

 

Neutral with spillover of bold: Most designers have gone for neutral shades for their collections in 2011/2012, but have shown them with hints of bolder tones. Canali, Ferragamo, Zegna, and Michael Kors have presented some clothing in light tan hues, light charcoal tones, and even pearl white. Accent the neutral suit with a sharp burgundy or teal scarf.

 

Savoir Fair suits: the suits for Fall/Winter this year feature double-breasted jackets, pleated pants and strong pocket square. Suits have been seen at Gucci, Dolce & Gabbana, and many high end fashion designers working with shirt styles to work into the suit.

 

Fabrics of Luxury: Fur leather cashmere and calfskin. These fabrics are all over the place. Jackets made of velvet, leather in colors, can all be seen at Etro Versace, and others.

 

Nordic sweaters:  Knit sweaters in bold colors as well as the sweaters with Nordic motifs are huge in 2011/2012. They are toasty and vivacious and can be found at Missoni, Versace, and Hermes. Turtlenecks are also in as well.

 

Tailored loose fitting clothing: Some loose fitting clothes are in this year. Overalls and pants to oversize loose coats and blazers, you get to enjoy some freedom of movement with those Zuit suits. Creased cuffs are to be looked out for as well. Christmas is just around the corner.

 

In finishing, the tradition of the new.  Yesterday's avant-gard-experiment is today's chic and tomorrow's cliche. Keep that in mind.
